Advantages and disadvantages of the micro piezoelectric type and the hot bubble type

Compared with these two methods, hot bubble printing head due to the ink at high temperature prone to biochemical changes, unstable, the direction of ink particles and volume size is not easy to grasp, printing line edge is easy to uneven, to a certain extent, affect the print quality, are its shortcomings.

Electric printing head technology is to use the characteristics of the discharge when pressurized crystal, stable ink at room temperature. The ink droplet control ability is strong, but also reduces the color point a lot. The ink point does not have a hui tail, so that the printed image is clearer. Easy to achieve high precision print quality up to 1440dpi.

Micro piezoelectric ink jet without heating, ink will not be heated and chemical changes, so greatly reduce the requirements of ink. In addition, the piezoelectric print head is fixed into the printer, so only the ink cartridge needs to be changed. Hot-bubble inkjet printers require an inkjet nozzle in each cartridge: this adds to the cost of the cartridge. But the downside of piezoelectric inkjet printers is that if the head gets damaged or blocked, the whole printer needs to be repaired.

Whether the ink droplets are produced by heating them or by vibrating them, the result is the same: tiny ink dots attached to the paper. The smaller the ink dot, the higher the resolution of the printed image and the better the color effect.
