Classification of inkjet technology
Inkjet printer adopts two main technologies: continuous inkjet technology and random inkjet technology.
continuous inkjet technology is used in the early inkjet printer and the current large-format inkjet printer, while the random inkjet technology is widely used in the current popular inkjet printer on the market. Continuous inkjet technology is represented by charge modulation. Random inkjet system inks only when printing is needed, so it is also called on demand.
Continuous inkjet technology is represented by charge modulation type. The principle of inkjet printing is to use a piezoelectric driving device to fix the pressure of the ink in the nozzle, so that it is continuous spray. In order to record, the vibration signal of the oscillator is used to stimulate the jet to generate ink droplets, and the size and spacing of the ink droplets are controlled. The printed information from the character generator and the analog modulator controls the charge on the control telegraph to form charged and uncharged ink droplets. Then the deflector electrode changes the flight direction of the ink droplets so that the ink droplets to be printed fly to the paper and generate character/graphic records. The ink droplets that are not recorded are recovered by the catheter. For the deflector electrode, some systems use two pairs of mutually perpendicular deflector electrodes to carry out two-dimensional deflector transformation for the printing position of ink droplets. Some systems adopt multidimensional control of the deflection electrode, namely multidimensional deflection transformations.
This continuous cycle inkjet system. Can generate high-speed ink droplets, so the printing speed is high, can use ordinary paper. Different printing media can obtain high quality printing results, but also easy to achieve color printing. However, compared with the random type, the structure of this inkjet printer is more complex: the ink needs a pressure device, and the terminal needs a recovery device to recover the record. And the way of working is not efficient enough, and not accurate. Inkjet printers using this technology are rare.
