How to choose the right printer

A printer is an output device and an essential piece of equipment in daily office work. There are two types of printers on the market: inkjet and laser printers. Faced with two different types of printers on the market, which one is inkjet or laser? Today, I will briefly compare the advantages, disadvantages and differences between inkjet and laser printers.

First, the printer inkjet or laser is better.

1. Advantages of laser printers

Laser printers use toner cartridges and toners to print. When using, the printing speed is fast, it is clear, and the color of notes can be adjusted. If it is not used for a long time, the laser printer must purchase a printer with a drum and powder separation structure, and the toner can be added separately after the toner is used up.

2. Disadvantages of laser printers

Compared to inkjet printers, laser printers are more expensive.

3. Advantages of inkjet printers

The price of inkjet printers is relatively low, the printing speed is fast, and it is easy to add ink. The cost of printing a single sheet is relatively low. It is recommended to buy a printer with a separate structure of the print head and the ink cartridge when purchasing, so as to avoid replacing the print head together after the ink is used up.

4. Disadvantages of inkjet printers

If the inkjet printer is not used for a long time, the nozzle will be blocked for a long time. The original ink must be used after the ink is used up, and the compatible ink is prone to problems. Inkjet printers print slower and print relatively few total sheets.

Summary: There is no specific answer to whether the printer is inkjet or laser, mainly depends on the budget and use of the purchase. For home users who require fast printing speed, not so high color reproduction, and infrequent use, laser printers can be considered. If there are certain requirements for print volume and print quality, it is recommended to choose an inkjet printer.

Second, how to clean the inkjet printer

1. Manual cleaning

Remove the ink cartridge from the printer. There is a part similar to an integrated circuit at the bottom of the ink cartridge, which is where the nozzle is located. Prepare warm water at 50~60℃, and soak the nozzle at the bottom of the ink cartridge in the water for 3~5 minutes. After that, take the ink cartridge out of the water, spin it dry with appropriate force, and dry the ink from the ink cartridge nozzle with a napkin. Then re-install the cleaned run-in into the printer.

2. Automatic cleaning

Open the Printer Toolbox application on your PC and open the Device Services option on the top toolbar. Click Clean Printhead and the printer will clean itself. At the same time, the printer makes a slight abnormal sound, which is normal. After the cleaning is completed, you can print a test page. If there is a slight disconnection, you can click on the second layer of cleaning.
