Heat transfer sublimation paper is one of the most important consumables in sublimation transfer, and transfer paper plays a central carrier effect during sublimation transfer, and can temporarily print sublimation transfer ink onto transfer paper. When sublimation transfer is performed, the ink is restored from the sublimation  paper to the product. Therefore, the accurate use of transfer paper is a prerequisite for the quality of sublimation transfer products. So, how exactly should the sublimation paper be used accurately?

We will show the accurate application of the sublimation transfer paper from the quality of it, how to determine the printing surface and the precautions in the application.

1. Distinguish the quality of sublimation transfer paper

The quality of sublimation paper is mainly to consider the recovery of it, which is a resolution condition for the transfer paper. In addition, the uniformity and thickness of the  transfer paper coating are also one of the important factors affecting the quality of the transfer paper.

2. Determine the sublimation transfer paper printing surface

The inkjet sublimation paper is divided into front and back. This commonly used general printing paper is very different. The front side of the transfer paper is generally referred to as a printing surface. Therefore, it is concluded that the front side of the transfer paper is the print surface of the sublimation inkjet paper.

In general, there are three ways to determine the print side of a sublimation transfer paper:

(1).Visual distinction

The double-sided side of the sublimation paper roll can be separated from them by eyes, one side is contrasting and the other side is dark contrast. Contrast the dark side, that is, the front side, which is the print side.

(2).Tactile differentiation

Use both hands to touch the double-sided side of the transfer paper. The rough surface is the print side.

(3).Air exposure method

This relatively does not advocate the use, because the transfer paper has a sublimation transfer coating on the outside, so when exposed to the air, the appearance of the bend will occur. The side of the attack that is bent is the print surface to be determined (the direction of the bend, the print surface inward).
