Why does fabric printing have these characteristics?
It is due for the following reasons:
1. Small batch size: As high-end apparel fabrics, printed wool fabrics are mainly produced in response to the needs of fashion apparel, and the patterns vary widely to reflect the individual requirements of small-batch production fashion. Currently, the most advanced screen printing machines are suitable for high-speed production. For the printing of wool fabrics in small batches, pattern design is required. Processes such as sketching and making nets not only take a long time to process, but also cost less. At the same time, general printing companies do not have the conditions to finish wool fabrics. This limits the production of printed wool fabrics.
2. Expensive fabrics: As the object of printing, wool fabrics are obviously much more expensive than other fabrics. In the screen printing process, in order to achieve the accuracy of the multi-color pattern, it may cause fabric waste as large as 5 meters. This situation is very obvious when the screen printing machine is running at high speed. It is more serious in complex printing techniques such as discharge printing processing. Therefore, the waste in processing and the small batch make it difficult to increase the output of printed wool fabrics.
