How to choose ink in sublimation transfer
The following are some tips for choosing ink correctly.
1. The ink reduction rate of thermal transfer consumables.
Thermal transfer ink mainly transfers the image to the product through the characteristics of thermal sublimation, so the color reduction rate is more important. Generally speaking, the reduction rate of imported ink can reach 90%, and basically the image on the transferred thermal transfer paper is close to white. Therefore, the color saturation of the image is very good and the color is relatively bright.
2. The purity of the heat transfer ink color.
This problem should be encountered frequently by everyone. Some inferior ink black is a little red and purple. For thermal transfer ink, black ink is the most prone to color cast, so when you choose, you can first print a black color block and transfer it to see if the transferred color is black. This is also an important indicator that directly distinguishes the pros and cons of thermal transfer inks.
3. The size of the ink particles of thermal transfer consumables.
The thermal transfer ink with large particles is easy to cause the phenomenon of printer plugging, and the product image produced is not delicate enough, and the granularity can be clearly seen when viewing with a magnifying glass. In general, the particles of domestic inks are larger than those of imported inks, which leads to insufficient fineness of the printer to read and transfer the image.
4. The price of thermal transfer ink consumables.
Thermal transfer consumable inks are divided into three categories: one is domestic ink, the other is imported ink, and the other is domestic production of imported materials. Domestic ink is the domestic production of domestic raw materials. As for imported ink, it is divided into US imported thermal transfer ink, South Korean imported thermal transfer ink and Germany imported thermal transfer ink. The other is domestic production of imported raw materials. The color reduction rate, saturation and fineness of imported thermal transfer inks are incomparable with domestic inks. The only price advantage of domestic inks is that the price is relatively low, which can meet some requirements. Customers whose product quality requirements are not very high.
